WEEK 1: INTIMACY AND WALK WITH GOD
 
Day 1: Praise and Honor to God
Scripture: "Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness." — Psalm 29:2
Prayer Focus: Begin the fast by focusing solely on God’s character, His power, and His holiness.
 
 
Day 2: Closeness to God
Scripture: "Come near to God and he will come near to you." — James 4:8
Prayer Focus: Ask for a renewed hunger for God’s presence and for the distractions of life to fade away.
 
 
Day 3: Repentance
Scripture: "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." — Acts 3:19
Prayer Focus: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any hidden sin and lead your heart toward a fresh start.
 
 
Day 4: Growth in Faith
Scripture: "Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'" — Mark 9:24
Prayer Focus: Pray for a deeper trust in God's promises, even when circumstances seem difficult.
 
 
Day 5: Growth in Obedience
Scripture: "If you love me, keep my commands." — John 14:15
Prayer Focus: Pray for a heart that is quick to listen and quick to obey the promptings of the Spirit.
 
 
Day 6: Spirit of Wisdom
Scripture: "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ... may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better." — Ephesians 1:17
Prayer Focus: Ask for spiritual discernment in daily decisions and a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
 
 
Day 7: A Heart of Gratitude
Scripture: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." — 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Prayer Focus: Spend time thanking God for His provision, His protection, and the gift of salvation.
 
 
WEEK 2: OUR CHURCH AND COMMUNITY
 
Day 8: Unity in the Church
Scripture: "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." — Ephesians 4:3
Prayer Focus: Pray for a spirit of harmony, unity, and love within the congregation.
 
 
Day 9: The Sick and Those in Need
Scripture: "And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up." — James 5:15
Prayer Focus: Pray for those struggling with physical illness or emotional distress.
 
 
Day 10: The Poor in Our Community
Scripture: "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done." — Proverbs 19:17
Prayer Focus: Ask God to show the church practical ways to serve and bless those in financial need.
 
 
Day 11: Strengthening Weak Faith
Scripture: "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves." — Romans 15:1
Prayer Focus: Pray for those who are doubting or drifting, that they would be encouraged and restored.
 
 
Day 12: Spiritual Fruitfulness
Scripture: "This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." — John 15:8
Prayer Focus: Pray that you and each of your brothers & sisters would be able to help someone become a true disciple of Jesus in 2026.
 
 
Day 13: Protection from Evil
Scripture: "But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." — 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Prayer Focus: Ask for God's protection over our families and our church body.
 
 
Day 14: Generosity of Heart
Scripture: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly... for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7
Prayer Focus: Pray for a spirit of generosity with your money, time, talents, and resources.
 
 
WEEK 3: OUR COUNTRY AND THE WORLD
 
Day 15: Reaching Out to Others
Scripture: "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you..." — 1 Peter 3:15
Prayer Focus: Pray for opportunities to share our faith & lives with neighbors, coworkers, and friends.
 
 
Day 16: Salvation of Souls
Scripture: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." — Luke 19:10
Prayer Focus: Intercede for specific people in your life who do not yet know Jesus.
 
 
Day 17: Our Leaders
Scripture: "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers... be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority." — 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Prayer Focus: Pray for wisdom, integrity, and Godly guidance for local and national leaders.
 
 
Day 18: Peace for Our Country
Scripture: "Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you... because if it prospers, you too will prosper." — Jeremiah 29:7
Prayer Focus: Pray for healing for our nation and for peace to prevail over division.
 
 
Day 19: Brothers and Sisters in Third World Countries
Scripture: "If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it." — 1 Corinthians 12:26
Prayer Focus: Pray for the global church, specifically those facing poverty or persecution.
 
 
Day 20: The Great Commission
Scripture: “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:36-38
Prayer Focus: Pray to be a fruitful worker and for an amazing spiritual harvest in 2026.
 
 
Day 21: Expectation and Revival
Scripture: "'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty." — Zechariah 4:6
Prayer Focus: Conclude the fast by asking for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the church and the world.
